Week of June 22 - 28

  • June 22: The check reader now employs the nameparser module, which breaks the OCR-detected name strings into their most likely name-parts.

    The user is now also prompted to choose between two or more potential name choices (i.e. multiple names are listed on the check), whereas previously, simply no name was automatically populated when more than one was detected.

  • June 24: Added ability for users to go back to a previous image in the batch, review any previously-saved information for that image, and edit it, if desired. User can now also individually specify election periods for each image. A flexible “note” field has also been added, for information not covered in any of the standard fields.
